EMR provider eClinicalWorks announced that mental health care provider Evolve Psychiatry has chosen the EHR-agnostic, AI-powered contact center platform healow Genie with the aim to improve efficiency, patient participation and administrative operations.
Genie offers a suite of tools, including patient self-service, an intelligent assistant, automated after-hours service and conversational campaigns, and 24/7 access to crucial health information.
With Genie's AI Agents feature, patients can manage appointments, pay bills, request a referral or ask for a medication refill. If a patient requires a more in-depth answer or review and approval by a healthcare provider, Genie refers the call to the appropriate person.
"The AI-powered contact center solution will address common communication challenges such as high call waiting times, appointment rescheduling issues and patient balance reminders," Dr. Priyadarshan Bajpayi, CEO of Evolve Psychiatry, said in a statement.
"By enhancing patient communication, we expect a significant increase in patient satisfaction and retention. healow Genie will make our lives easier while eliminating the need for costly after-hours services."
